Inside the Reasons Sebastian Bach is Leading Twisted Sister on Their 2026 Tour

Sebastian Bach will take over as the frontman for Twisted Sister during their shows this fall. The band’s original singer, Dee Snider, has stepped back due to health issues, including arthritis, a hip replacement, a knee injury, and a heart condition. Snider, who is 71 and lives in North Carolina, has been hosting his radio show, House of Hair, for 29 years.

In a statement, Snider said, “I’d rather walk away than be a shadow of my former self.” He gave his blessing to Bach before the news was made public. The two had an emotional 45-minute phone call where they discussed the transition. Snider mentioned that Bach and his son Jesse are the only ones he trusts to fill in for him.

Bach, known for his time with Skid Row, has been a fan of Twisted Sister since he was a kid. He even painted the band’s logo on his high school jacket. “I am a fan of Twisted Sister. I love that band,” Bach said. He promised to bring high energy to the performances, recalling how the band used to perform like a punk rock or thrash metal group.

Guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda will continue to be part of the lineup, along with bassist Russell Pzütto. The first show is set for September 4 at the Alaska State Fair, with more dates to be announced soon. Fans can look forward to an exciting fall with Twisted Sister!
