Iodine Recordings Announces New Releases By Ritual Earth + Audio Karate

IODINE RECORDINGS KICKS OFF 2022 WITH TWO NEW RELEASES

INFLUENTIAL INDIE LABEL TO RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM MMXX FROM

PHILADELPHIA DOOM GAZE BAND RITUAL EARTH ON MARCH 17

AUDIO KARATE’S ¡OTRA! ALSO DUE OUT ON MARCH 17

LABEL NOW EXCLUSIVELY DISTRIBUTED BY DEATHWISH, INC.

Influential label Iodine Recordings, which launched back in 1996 by distributing punk and hardcore records from a cramped apartment in Boston during the golden age of mail-order and print catalogs, announced its return to action in summer 2022. The label reissued signature titles by influential acts like Jeromes Dream and There Were Wires.

The label fosters a diverse and unique roster, where no two bands are truly alike. Iodine is also now exclusively distributed by Deathwish, Inc.

Today, Iodine announced that it will release MMXX, the debut album from Philadelphia doom gaze band Ritual Earth, as well as ¡OTRA!, a collection of rare and previously unreleased material from California pop punk band Audio Karate.
