Iron Maiden includes ex-frontman Blaze Bayley and others in EddFest lineup

Iron Maiden has announced exciting additions to EddFest, their 50th anniversary celebration, set for July 10-11 at Knebworth Park in England. Former frontman Blaze Bayley, who sang with the band from 1994 to 1999, will headline the Maidenville stage on Friday, July 10. Bayley appeared on the albums *The X Factor* and *Virtual XI*.

In addition, Maiden bassist Steve Harris’ early band, Gypsy’s Kiss, will also perform on Friday. Harris formed Gypsy’s Kiss in 1974 with singer/guitarist David Smith before starting Iron Maiden in 1975.

Harris expressed his excitement about the festival, saying, “It’s a chance to bring together friends past and present and create a really special weekend for the fans.” He added, “I’m very pleased that Blaze is able to join us and perform some of the songs we wrote and recorded in the ’90s.”

Harris also shared his enthusiasm for Gypsy’s Kiss, stating, “They were a big part of my musical heritage, and it’s really exciting to have them play at the Maidenville stage.”

Iron Maiden will headline EddFest on July 11, with other acts including The Hu, The Darkness, Airbourne, and The Almighty. For more details, visit IronMaiden.Knebworth.com.
