Iron Maiden (Like Everyone Else) Loves Eddie from ‘Stranger Things’

Stranger Things has metal icons sharing their love for the Netflix series thanks to season four’s fan-favorite character/metal head Eddie Munson.

Iron Maiden is the latest to show their support via Twitter where they shared a photo of Munson holding a Maiden cassette while exclaiming “This is music!” The tweet was captioned, “We’re with you, Eddie! #IronMaiden #StrangerThings.”

In addition to Maiden, Metallica shared yesterday (July 5) how happy they were with how their classic song “Master of Puppets” was used in the season four finale of the hit Netflix series.

The band issued a statement via Instagram accompanied by video of Eddie Munson performing the iconic metal song saying, “The way The Duffer Brothers have incorporated music into Stranger Things has always been next level, so we were beyond psyched for them to not only include ‘Master of Puppets’ in the show, but to have such a pivotal scene built around it. We were all stoked to see the final result and when we did we were totally blown away… it’s so extremely well done, so much so, that some folks were able to guess the song just by seeing a few seconds of Joseph Quinn’s hands in the trailer!! How crazy cool is that?”

The statement continued, “It’s an incredible honor to be such a big part of Eddie’s journey and to once again be keeping company with all of the other amazing artists featured in the show.”
