Iron Maiden will film their headlining set at Eddfest on July 11 in Knebworth. The band plans to finish a concert film after their June 22 Paris show was cut short by a power outage. The outage stopped the show for about an hour, and the venue’s curfew meant the band had to drop the encore.
Eddfest marks Iron Maiden’s 50th anniversary. Bassist Steve Harris said they’ll “finish it off at Knebworth.” Frontman Bruce Dickinson added they won’t lose what they captured in Paris but will add “some amazing stuff from Knebworth,” and told the crowd to be “on ya best behaviour.” Fans should expect the Knebworth performance to complete the film project.
