Jack White Gets Dark on New Track ‘If I Die Tomorrow’

Jack White has released the new track “If I Die Tomorrow,” the latest preview from Entering Heaven Alive, which is his second solo LP of 2022.

“If I Die Tomorrow” is the third track preview from Entering Heaven Alive following “Taking Me Back (Gently)” and “Love Is Selfish,” and it comes accompanied by a moody, heavy music video directed by Brantley Gutierrez. The video certainly lends itself to the song’s heavy lyrics, which include, “If I die tomorrow will you let me know I left in peace/I begged and borrowed everybody’s love and they gave for free/And I wish that I could give it back to them/So if I die tomorrow/Will you give them all the love they lent to me.”

Entering Heaven Alive comes out July 22 and is currently available for pre-save/pre-order in a variety of formats here — including vinyl, because obviously.
