Jack White’s wife, Olivia Jean, has filed for divorce. The court documents state that there are irreconcilable differences between them. Olivia claims that Jack has engaged in inappropriate behavior, making it unsafe for them to continue living together.
Jack proposed to Olivia during a concert in Detroit in 2022. They got married right on stage, with Third Man Records co-founder Ben Swank officiating the ceremony. This was Jack’s third marriage. He was previously married to Meg White, his bandmate from The White Stripes, from 1996 to 2000. He also married musician Karen Elson from 2005 to 2013, with whom he has two children.
