The release marks the Def Leppard guitarist’s first signature instrument produced outside of Jackson’s Custom Shop.
Jackson has introduced the Pro Series Signature Phil Collen PC1-E, marking the first time a signature guitar for the Def Leppard guitarist has been released outside of the builder’s Custom Shop. The launch highlights nearly four decades of collaboration between Collen and Jackson, following four previous signature models designed since Collen acquired his first Jackson in 1986.
The relic’d instrument features a black distressed mahogany body with gold hardware, a caramelized maple neck, an ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets, and a Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo. It is equipped with a DiMarzio X2N bridge humbucker, a DiMarzio Sugar Chakra middle pickup, and an 18V-powered PC1 Sustainer Driver in the neck position.
