Japan’s Rising Boy Group JO1 Announces First Ever Global Tour, Presented By Live Nation 

JO1, Japan’s rising boy group sensation formed through the hit show Produce 101 Japan, announces their first-ever global tour, presented by Live Nation. Managed by LAPONE ENTERTAINMENT—a collaboration between Yoshimoto Kogyo and  CJ ENM—JO1 debuted in 2020 and quickly captivated fans with high-energy performances and striking visuals. With a unique blend of J-pop and K-pop influences, JO1 has achieved chart-topping success in Japan and rapidly expanded their fanbase across Asia. Now, this global tour marks their next step toward connecting with fans worldwide and solidifying their presence on the international stage.

TAIPEI TICKETS: Tickets available starting with a Live Nation presale beginning on Wednesday, December 18. The general onsale begins on Thursday, December 19 at 11am local time at TixCraft.

BANGKOK TICKETS: Tickets will be available starting with a Live Nation presale beginning on Friday, January 10. The general onsale begins on Saturday, January at 10am local time at THAITICKETMAJOR.

U.S TICKETS: The general onsale on Friday, December 10 at 10am local time at Ticketmaster.

ABOUT JO1 

A global boys group formed by 11 people selected from 101 people by the viewers “national producers” in Japan’s largest audition program “PRODUCE 101 JAPAN”, which caused a social phenomenon in 2019. The group name “JO1” has the meaning that the trainees who pursued their dreams together in “PRODUCE 101 JAPAN” will become one and aim for the top of the world.

As for their awards in Korea, they won the Best New Asian Artist award at the Mnet Music Awards in 2020, the Best Asian Artist Japan award in 2021.And the Favorite Asian Artist award at the MAMA Music Awards in 2022.

This year, they have won a total of four music awards at ASEA 2024, TMA 2024 (two categories), and KGMA 2024

They have also appeared on all of Korea’s major music programs, including Mnet (M COUNTDOWN), KBS2 (Music Bank), MBC (Music Core), and SBS (Inkigayo/THE SHOW/SHOW CHAMPION).

Last year, they held a live tour that attracted a total of 200,000 people. They also had a successful first Asian tour, visiting Jakarta, Bangkok, Taipei and Shanghai. One of their songs was produced by world-famous DJ and producer R3HAB, and it became a popular song around the world. In September 2024, they appeared at KCON GERMANY 2024, performing live in Europe for the first time. In December 2024, they will celebrate their 5th anniversary.
