Jay, the former drummer of Slipknot, has a musical legacy to pass on. His father, Max Weinberg, is also a drummer, known for his work with Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band. It seems likely that their daughter will be introduced to music early on.
After nearly ten years with Slipknot, Jay left the band in 2023. He later joined Suicidal Tendencies but announced his departure in January. In 2025, he released his first solo song, “Sandstone,” followed by another track, “Drone Operator,” in March.
