Jazmin Bean Shares New Single ‘Terrified’

Jazmin Bean continues their evolution with the release of a brand-new single “Terrified,” alongside a music video. “Terrified” is the third single off of their upcoming debut album entitled Traumatic Livelihood, which is due out in February of 2024.

The album includes Jazmin’s previous singles “Favourite Toy” and “Piggie,” which was produced by John Feldman and Travis Barker. Emotionally laden, the new track pays homage to nineties rock guitars and swooning strings, making “Terrified” a towering ballad that neatly sums up the anxiety of falling deeply in love, but fearing the outcome. “Terrified” is available now via aswang birthday cake/Interscope Records/Island Records.

Jazmin Bean describes “Terrified” as their “first content love song”, stating, “It’s terrifying to write about love as someone who’s grown up with extreme behaviors in relationships that would always send me on an emotional rush. The lyrics explain the anxiety of a relationship having no end point and thinking, ‘Oh my god, this might work out.’ I wanted to capture that feeling that I’m finally safe.”

In addition to the single and video, Jazmin Bean is in the midst of their “The Terrified Tour”, which is hitting a number of cities across the UK, Europe, and for the first time, North America with multiple dates already sold out. The tour kicked off on September 21 in Berlin and ends on December 15 in Anaheim, with stops in Brussels, Paris, London, Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn, Nashville, Dallas, Los Angeles, and more in between.

Jazmin Bean is a London-based multidisciplinary, non-binary artist, specializing in music. While the musician and creative knows their appearance may be considered intense, Jazmin Bean is truly a genuine soul who showcases an empowering sense of individualism, self-integrity, and independence simply by being who Jazmin Bean wants to be.
