Jimmy Eat World and The Format will play the Hollywood Bowl on Nov. 7 in Los Angeles. The show will mark the 25th anniversary of Jimmy Eat World’s 2001 album Bleed American and the 20th anniversary of The Format’s 2006 album Dog Problems. Both bands will perform their albums in full.

Bleed American was Jimmy Eat World’s breakthrough. It includes the hit “The Middle” plus “Sweetness,” “A Praise Chorus,” and the title track. Dog Problems was The Format’s second album and their final release before they split. Nate Ruess later formed fun. The Format reunited in 2025 and released a new album, Boycott Heaven, in January 2026.
