Joan Osborne’s debut album, *Relish*, is celebrating its 30th anniversary! To mark this special occasion, the album will be remastered and re-released. Originally launched in March 1995, *Relish* blends contemporary folk, rock, and pop, earning a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year. The standout track, “One Of Us,” reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped charts in Australia, Canada, Sweden, and Belgium. It received three Grammy nominations for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. The song explores the idea of God as a human and was later featured as the theme for the early 2000s series *Joan of Arcadia*.
*Relish* also includes memorable tracks like “Man in the Long Black Coat,” a cover of Bob Dylan’s song, “St. Theresa,” which earned a Grammy nod for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance, “Right Hand Man,” and “Lumina,” which appeared in *The Sopranos* and *The Good Wife*.
Osborne has shared that many fans tell her how much the album means to them. She often hears stories from people who felt connected to her music during tough times. Since *Relish*, she has released twelve more albums, including 2017’s *Songs of Bob Dylan* and 2023’s *Nobody Owns You*.
In July, Osborne performed alongside Lisa Loeb at Appalachian State University to celebrate the 30th anniversaries of both their albums. You can now order the 30th anniversary edition of *Relish* on vinyl or CD!
