John Corabi Set to Release Debut Solo Album ‘New Day’ Featuring Musicians from Guns N’ Roses and Winger

John Corabi is set to release his first full-length solo album, titled *New Day*, on April 24. The album will be released by Frontiers Music Srl. Last summer, Corabi recorded the album in Nashville.

Marti Frederiksen produced the album and also provided backing vocals, guitars, piano, and percussion. Richard Fortus from Guns N’ Roses adds lead guitar, while Paul Taylor, known for his work with Winger and Steve Perry, contributes piano, organ, and clavinet. Charlie Starr from Blackberry Smoke delivers some impressive guitar solos. Evan Frederiksen plays drums, bass, B3 organ, electric guitar, mandolin, and handles programming across the 12 tracks. The album blends classic ’70s rock with soul and blues influences.

The title track, *New Day*, has just released a music video. The song features a mix of stripped-down acoustic sections and rich, layered rock parts, drawing inspiration from early Boston and Queen. Corabi describes the song as “positive and upbeat,” encouraging listeners to enjoy life and focus on the “little beautiful things” it offers. He emphasizes that change starts from within.

Corabi has a rich history in music, having played with Mötley Crüe, Union, and The Dead Daisies. He previously released two singles, “*Your Own Way*” in 2021 and “*The Last Time*” in 2022, both of which are included on the album.

“I wanted to create an album of eclectic, organic songs that reflect the music I grew up with,” Corabi said. “This is a classic rock and roll record with a ’60s-’70s vibe.”

To support the album, Corabi will embark on a European tour starting in February and running through March, with shows extending into late spring and summer. Fans can look out for tour updates and pre-order the album soon.
