Karol G And Feid Win Big At Latin American Music Awards

 

The Latin American Music Awards took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Thursday, April 25, and artists Karol G and Feid won big, with each artist taking home six awards.

Karol G took home Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for her hit single with Shakira, “TQG.” She was also honored with Album of the Year for Mañana Será Bonito, Global Latin Artist Of The Year, Best Artist – Urban, and Best Album – Urban for Mañana Será Bonito.

Feid won for Collaboration Of The Year for his track with Yandel, “Yandel 150.” He also won for Collaboration Crossover Of The Year for his hit track with Sean Paul, “ Niña Bonita.” Feid also took home Streaming Artist Of The Year. Global Latin Song Of The Year for “Classy 101” with Young Miko, Best Song – Urban for “Yandel 150,” and Best Collaboration – Urban for “Classy 101.”

RBD took home two awards: Tour of The Year and Best Duo or Group Pop.

Performers included Morat, who presented their latest release “Faltas Tú,” Anitta, who invited Brray to perform “Double Team,” and Feid, who performed an epic medley of “Fecha” and “Brickell” alongside Yandel.

The triumphant night caps an epic awards season for Karol G. Back in February, she was named Billboard’s 2024 Woman of the Year.

The iconic singer was honored with the 2024 Woman of the Year Award at the Billboard Women in Music Awards. The show was held on March 6 at the YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park in Los Angeles. Karol also performed at the event.

“With her immense talent, Karol G has created a movement for women across the globe due to her empowering lyrics and inspiring confidence,” said Hannah Karp, Billboard’s editorial director. “The release of her groundbreaking album Mañana Será Bonito has proven her a force to be reckoned with in both the English and Spanish charts. We are so excited to honor her as Woman of the Year.”
