Kelly Osbourne is upset with wrestler Becky Lynch after Lynch made a disrespectful comment about Birmingham, England, the hometown of her late father, Ozzy Osbourne. During Monday’s WWE Raw, which took place in Birmingham, Lynch took a jab at the city before her match with Nikki Bella. She said, “The only good thing that came out of [Birmingham] died a month ago,” referring to Ozzy. Lynch added, “But in fairness to Ozzy Osbourne, he had the good sense to move to [Los Angeles], a proper city. Because if I lived in Birmingham, I’d die, too.”
While Lynch is known for her heel persona and making provocative remarks, Kelly felt this comment went too far. She expressed her anger in an Instagram Story, calling Lynch a “disrespectful dirtbag” and stating, “Birmingham would not piss on you if you were on fire. #BirminghamForever.”
Kelly also criticized WWE for allowing such comments about her father and his hometown. Ozzy performed his last concert in Birmingham on July 5, just weeks before he passed away on July 22. A public funeral procession was held in Birmingham on July 30 to honor him.
