Kerry King, the guitarist from Slayer, is getting ready to hit the studio again. He will start working on his second solo album in April. King’s first solo album, *From Hell I Rise*, came out in 2024.
His new album is highly anticipated, and fans are excited to see what he has in store. In addition to the album, King plans to go on a solo tour in early 2027.
Slayer is also keeping busy. The band will perform at the upcoming Rocklahoma and Sick New World Texas festivals. These shows will celebrate the 40th anniversary of their iconic album, *Reign in Blood*, which was released in 1986.
