Kick Off Your Week With This Ultimate K-Pop Playlist

K-Pop’s dominating takeover has long been on the rise. From BTS and SEVENTEEN to BLACKPINK and TRI.BE, acts in the genre have played a role in redefining performance standards with lineups loaded to the brim with rappers, singers, dancers, and performers who check every box. Then, there are the solo acts – some who emerge from massive groups and some who have stood on their own from the very beginning.

For those who are late to the party, a new K-Pop Hot Hits playlist featuring releases from some of the biggest acts in the genre is the perfect place to dive headfirst into a crash course in some of the best K-Pop has to offer.

The collection highlights prominent releases from the likes of PSY, the artist who began a global sensation with viral hits like “Gangnam Style” and “Gentlemen,” now fresh off the release of his ninth studio album. For the record, PSY teamed up with BTS powerhouse SUGA, who featured on and produced “That That.”

There are also appearances from (G)I-DLE, the multinational girl group whose hits like “TOMBOY” and “HWAA” have made them one of South Korea’s best-selling girl groups. Quadrilingual powerhouse TRI.BE join them on the playlist with the Coke Studio Session of “A Kind Of Magic,” a thrilling cover of the iconic Queen track.

Elsewhere, PENTAGON marks their spot with “Daisy” while highlights appear from Miso (“Alone”), Red Museum (“Dancing in the Rain”), DEAN (“Instagram”), 2NE1 (“I Am The Best), and BLACKPINK’s JENNIE (“Solo”).

With infectious music carrying depth within their lyrics, K-Pop artists have raised the standard of performance with an ingrained dedication to their craft.
