Korn & Alice In Chains Heat Up Camden, NJ

It’s August, so that means its time for the big summer rock tours to roll through your town.  Saturday night in Camden, New Jersey, Korn and Alice In Chains brought their summer tour to the BB&T Pavilion.

Korn who have recently released two singles, “You’ll Never Find Me’ and ‘Cold’ are out supporting their up coming album The Nothing which is due out on September 13, 2019.  Jonathan Davis says “this is the band’s darkest album yet,” which deals with the emotions of the tragedy he experienced this past year.  On Monday, guitarist James ‘Munky’ Shaffer notified Korn fans on social media that he would be leaving the tour for ajust under week to support his wife and the birth of his 3rd child.  He is scheduled to be back on tour with the band on 8/11/2019.

Alice In Chains are still touring supporting their 2018 release and sixth studio album Rainier Fog, the band’s 6th studio album which was nominated for Best Rock Album in 2019.

Supporting Korn an AIC on this leg of the tour is Ho99o9 and Underoath.

Underaoth is a post-hardcore band from Tampa, Florida who have been in existence for more that 20 years.  In 2018 they released their 8th studio album Erase Me their first album in 8 years and their first in 10 years with founding drummer Aaron Gillespie

H09909 is an American hip hop group founded by theOGM and Eaddy in 2012 in Newark, New Jersey. They relocated to Los Angeles in 2014, where they attracted a strong cult following on account of their live performance. In 2016, the group brought former Black Flag member Brandon Pertzborn into the band as their drummer. Their style combines dark hip hop with the aggression of hardcore punk. In May of 2017 they released their first studio album United States of Horror.
