Korn’s latest single, “Forgotten” is now out. You can check the fierce new track out below.
“Forgotten” is also the lead-off cut from the band’s new album, Requiem, due out on February 4, 2022 via Loma Vista Recordings. First announced in November, the album was initially previewed by its first single, “Start The Healing”. Requiem is the follow-up to Korn’s critically-acclaimed 2019 release, The Nothing, which peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and has streamed 87 million times in the US to date.
Also prior to Christmas 2021, a new book that details every song Korn have ever written was released in the UK. Korn: Every Album, Every Song by British author Matt Karpe promises a deep-dive into the lyrics, song compositions and stories behind each and every track ever penned by the influential US nu-metal band. It includes B-sides, standalone singles, unreleased material, and songs that have only ever previously featured on film and gaming soundtracks.
Korn changed the world with the release of their self-titled debut album. It was a record that would pioneer a genre, while the band’s enduring success points to a larger cultural moment. The band have continued to push the limits of the rock, alternative and metal genres, while remaining a pillar of influence for legions of fans and generations of artists around the globe.
In support of Requiem, Korn have also announced a March 2022 US tour produced by Live Nation. Accompanied by very special guests Chevelle and Code Orange, the 19-date arena trek begins on March 4 in Springfield, MO with stops in Greensboro, Providence, and Albany before wrapping up in Wichita, KS on April 1.
In addition, Korn are performing four nights with System Of A Down, Helmet, and Russian Circles in early 2022 beginning on January 31 in Phoenix followed by a stop in San Diego on February 1 and two sold-out shows in Los Angeles on February 4 and 5 at Banc Of California stadium.
