Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love’s former home in Los Angeles is up for sale. However, if you want it, it won’t be cheap and it needs significant repairs.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom 2,458 sq. ft home at 6881 Alta Loma Terrace in Central L.A. is currently listed by Sotheby’s International Realty.

Per the listing, “The year was 1992. Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love ruled the airwaves. Together they moved into this charming Asian-influenced Craftsman in iconic Hollywood Heights. Built in 1921, this house is full of original character and unique details. The dramatic two-story living room has a regal open staircase and four oversized french doors leading to a viewing deck. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and one bathroom; all with a birds-eye view of Hollywood.”

The listing continues, “Venture out to the lush side yard and head to the lower level one bed / one bath apartment; which begs to be reimagined into an art or recording studio. Part of the legendary Hightower Elevator Association; the home comes with a key to the historic elevator and a dedicated garage on High Tower.”

The home is currently listed for $998,000, but the listing notes, “The property has fallen into disrepair and is a major fixer. It will not qualify for traditional financing.”
