Lauv Washes Ashore In Official Music Video For ‘All 4 Nothing (I’m So In Love)’

In the music video for his latest single “All For Nothing (I’m So In Love),” pop singer and songwriter Lauv washes ashore on a sandy beach, drenched and ready to surrender to love and life. The record serves as the title track to the singer’s forthcoming sophomore album All 4 Nothing, due out in August.

In a statement, Lauv described “All 4 Nothing (I’m So In Love)” as being “a song about loving someone so much at a time in your life when you’re still in the process of learning how to love yourself and being scared how your own personal insecurities could ruin a love that is and could be so genuine and transformative. In essence, it’s a song about surrendering to love and life.”

Lauv stars in the Hannah Lux Davis-directed “All 4 Nothing (I’m So In Love)” music video alongside Sophie Cates, delivering a striking and emotive performance at the mercy of the ocean waves. Giving physical form to the giddy feeling of falling in love, he sings: “I’m so in love, I’m so in love / I don’t ever wanna stop this ride that we’re on / I don’t ever wanna say goodbye / Cause then all of those nights / They would just be all for nothing.”

“Shooting the video with Hannah Lux Davis was an amazing, eye opening experience which has not only pushed the boundaries of how I see myself as an artist but also as a clear example of the true artist that Hannah herself is and her ability to bring those things out in the artists she works with,” Lauv shared. “It surpassed every dream I could’ve had for shooting a video for this song.”

The single and music video arrived alongside the All 4 Nothing album announcement as well as a slate of headlining NorAmerican tour dates scheduled for August through September 2022. The tour will begin on August 11 at The Amory in Minneapolis, Minnesota and span through September 20 where it concludes with show at Seattle, Washington’s WAMU Theater.
