LE SSERAFIM have announced their fourth Japanese single, “DIFFERENT”, set for an August 1 release in the U.S. The South Korean girl group’s single features two Japanese original songs (“DIFFERENT” and “Kawaii” and a Japanese version of “HOT” (the original Korean version appears on their latest fifth mini album of the same name).
This single will be available in three formats. The standard edition CD includes one of five randomly selected selfie photo cards. Limited Edition A includes a CD and a photobook. Limited Edition B includes a CD, photobook, and the standard edition package. Both limited edition versions will also come with a selfie photo card, a group photo card (one of five, randomly enclosed), and a logo sticker.
LE SSERAFIM’s latest Japanese single announcement comes after the release of their third Japanese single, “Crazy” earlier this year. The girl group is composed of Sakura, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae. LE SSERAFIM debuted in 2022 with their Fearless EP titled Fearless. Later that year, their second EP Antifragile reached No. 14 on the Billboard 200, making LE SSERAFIM the fastest K-pop girl group to debut on the chart.
Their latest Korean mini album HOT was released in March. It debuted at No. 1 on Billboards’s Top Album Sales chart and reached No. 9 on the Billboard 200, marking their fourth consecutive album to enter the chart’s Top 10.
LE SSERAFIM continue to build their global momentum with the recently announced dates for their first-ever North American tour, which is part of their Easy Crazy Hot world trek. The North American leg kicks off on Sept. 3 in Newark, New Jersey and ends on Sept. 23 in Mexico City.
