Linkin Park Trends on Twitter as People Share Bands They Listened to the Most in High School

Linkin Park trended seemingly out of nowhere on Twitter this morning (November 18) and was the number three trending topic in the United States as of publishing.

The sudden trending appears to be in response to a tweet asking users, “HONEST ANSWERS ONLY: What were your five most-listened-to bands or artists in high school? (And don’t try to be cool and say some hardcore band from Manitoba that three people have heard of.)”

This led to an outpouring of Linkin Park fans to recognize the band, share some of their favorite memories and also share a joke or two. Here are some of the most notable responses.
