Metalcore band Motionless in White has released a cover of the 1980s hit “Sunglasses at Night,” originally by Corey Hart. The song appears on their new album, Decades, which came out Friday.
If you don’t know all the words, or only remember the “I wear my sunglasses at night” line, the band put out a lyric video on YouTube. Motionless in White has referenced ’80s songs before—on their 2022 album Scoring the End of the World, the track “Werewolf” nods to Rockwell’s “Somebody’s Watching Me.”
Decades follows Scoring the End of the World and includes the single “R.I.P.” featuring Skylar Grey, plus a collaboration with Slipknot’s Corey Taylor. Motionless in White are currently on a U.S. tour supporting the new album.
