The collection features archived 2009 recordings spanning Weiland’s solo work, Stone Temple Pilots, and Velvet Revolver.
The live album Scott Weiland: Live is scheduled for release on Oct. 23 across CD, streaming platforms, and a red vinyl edition. Previously issued as a limited-edition Record Store Day release, the collection features unearthed concert recordings from Weiland’s 2009 solo tour supporting his second solo album, Happy In Galoshes. A visualizer featuring previously unreleased concert footage for “Interstate Love Song (Live)” was released ahead of the album.
The setlist draws from all eras of Weiland’s career, including Stone Temple Pilots hits (“Interstate Love Song,” “Vasoline,” and “Unglued”), Velvet Revolver’s “Do It For The Kids,” and solo tracks such as “Paralysis,” “Killing Me Sweetly,” “Barbarella,” “Missing Cleveland,” and “Blind Confusion.” Arriving days before what would have been Weiland’s 59th birthday on Oct. 27, the album is currently available for pre-order.
