Summer is here and Live Nation UK has started a record-breaking outdoor
season. Over the months of June, July and August, Live Nation will host nearly
6 million fans at live shows across the UK.
June kicked
off with over 200,000 fans at the new Creamfields
South and Liam Gallagher at Knebworth over the bank holiday weekend. For

This
weekend was Download festival and Parklife festival which saw more than 300,000 fans descend on Donington
and Heaton Park, with headline sets from Kiss,
Iron Maiden, Biffy Clyro, 50 Cent, Chase & Status, Tyler, The Creator and
Bicep.
This year is
set to be Live Nation UK’s biggest summer ever, with fans attending over 100 events:
4 million people will attend a festival or outdoor event, while nearly 2
million will attend shows at indoor venues across the country. With Harry Styles,
Lady Gaga, Eagles, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Billie Eilish all on tour, there
are more options than ever for fans.

reunited with the artists they love, and new bands forging their futures. This
will be a summer to remember’.
Fans will
not only be attending their favourite festivals but also experiencing five new
festivals and editions that Live Nation has to offer this year in the region.
British
fans have been waiting to see their favourite acts and are ready to celebrate together
with friends and family again – in Scotland, 24% of the population will attend
a DF Concerts show or festival this summer.
