Loyle Carner, Madness And More Confirmed For Standon Calling 2022

Loyle Carner and Madness have been confirmed as two of the headliners for this year’s Standon Calling festival.

The four-day event will take place between July 21-24 in Standon, Hertfordshire. Anne-Marie and Primal Scream will also top the bill. Other acts set announced today (February 2) to appear over the weekend include Norwegian pop star Sigrid, British pop icons Sugababes, Yorkshire post-punks Yard Act, and Brighton singer-songwriter, Sam Tompkins.

Standon Calling 2022 will also feature a raft of electronic acts, including former BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac, a DJ set from Basement Jaxx, and Grandmaster Flash. Elsewhere, there will be family-friendly performances on sit, as well as comedy, a dog show, a costume parade, talks and workshops, circus acts, and much more.

As part of the festival’s commitment to the Keychange gender parity pledge, which aims to bring underrepresented genders to the forefront of the music industry, an all-female/non-binary line-up will be on offer at the Electric Willows stage on Friday night and the Laundry Meadows stage on Sunday.

“After the joy of bringing everyone together against the odds in 2021, we could not be more pleased to share this unbelievable lineup for 2022,” festival founder and director Alex Trenchard said in a statement.

“So many incredible artists are coming to Standon for the very first time, and with each year we get to enjoy this magical weekend with new and old friends from all around the UK! Standon Calling really is for everyone and this year we’re excited to bring you our most eclectic line up to date!”

Weekend camping tickets and Thursday day tickets are available now. More information can be found on the Standon Calling website.

Madness is also set to headline Sheffield festival Tramlines in July. They will join the likes of Sam Fender and Kasabian at the Hillsborough Park weekender, which also takes place between July 22-24.
