The Struts kick off their North American tour on Thursday in Toronto to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut album, *Everybody Wants*. Ahead of the first show, frontman Luke Spiller shared his thoughts on the band’s journey over the past decade.
In an Instagram post, Spiller expressed his pride in what he and the band have accomplished. “When I really think about it, I’m overwhelmed with a sense of pride,” he wrote. “We came at a time when guitars were overlooked, and being androgynous was not in style. Being myself didn’t make things easier, but we opened doors for many bands to follow.”
He also invited fans to celebrate both their past and the bright future ahead. The Struts released their latest album, *Pretty Vicious*, in 2023, and their most recent single is a cover of Bad Company’s “Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy.”
Additionally, Spiller launched his solo career with the album *Love Will Probably Kill Me Before Cigarettes and Wine* in April. Fans can look forward to an exciting tour and more music from The Struts!
