In a recent interview, Lzzy Hale opened up about her partner’s reaction when she came out as bisexual. She shared how this moment inspired her latest work with her band, Halestorm, as they tour to promote their new album, *Everest*.
Hale expressed her gratitude for being in a relationship with a man who truly understands her. “When I came out to my partner, I was worried about how things might change. Would he still see me the same way? Would he feel threatened?” she recalled. However, her fears were unfounded. “What I learned is that he fell in love with me for who I am, and now we can admire beautiful women together. Turns out we have the same type,” she said.
Lzzy came out publicly in 2022 during an online Q&A. She and her brother Arejay started Halestorm in Pennsylvania back in 1997. The band won a GRAMMY in 2013 and has built a strong reputation through relentless touring.
Hale described her single as a reflection of her bisexual awakening. She noted that everyone who identifies as bisexual has their own unique experiences and boundaries.
The album *Everest* has been a success, reaching number one on the UK Rock & Metal Album chart. The band is set to tour the U.S. this year, with fans eager to catch them live. They recently headlined The O2 and performed at the Back To The Beginning festival alongside legends like Black Sabbath and Metallica.
In addition to her music, Gibson Guitar named Hale their first female brand ambassador, marking another milestone in her career. Fans can check out the band’s website for all the upcoming tour dates.
