Since Måneskin released their latest album, RUSH!, in 2023, band members Damiano David, Victoria De Angelis, and Thomas Raggi have all been working on solo projects. Raggi believes that their individual experiences will enhance their future work as a band.
He told NME, “The idea is just to experiment in different worlds, which I think is important for a band. When we get back in the studio, we’ll bring lots of different elements because everyone’s been on a different journey.” Raggi thinks this experimentation will benefit the band’s creative process. “I think there’s something good in everyone having space to experiment,” he added.
As for new Måneskin music, Raggi said, “Not yet, but we have some cool stuff that we can try when we come back to the studio.”
Raggi recently released his debut solo album, Masquerade, in December. The album was produced by Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine and features collaborations with several notable artists, including Chad Smith from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Luke Spiller from The Struts, Alex Kapranos from Franz Ferdinand, former Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum, and Nic Cester from Jet.
Fans can look forward to what Måneskin will create next, as the band members continue to explore their individual sounds.
