Margot Robbie is one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, but she also has a high profile in the metal community as a metalhead.
Robbie has talked about her love of metal on many occasions, but little has been seen of her fandom. Fortunately, Metal Hammer resurfaced this clip of Robbie taking part in a segment for BBC Radio 1. Frankly, it’s just delightful.
The February 2018 segment is called “Heart Rate Monitor.” It hooks up guests to a heart rate monitor and shows them some clips to see what causes their heart rate to spike. For starters, Robbie’s heart rate is higher than normal, which she attributes to being hungover from too many Jagerbombs. What a queen!
Anyway, the metal magic stars at the 5:56 mark in the video. Host Nick Grimshaw sets up a clip to show Robbie of performance from Bullet For My Valentine, one of her favorite bands. The clip shows the band dedicating a song to her. Robbie is visibly freaking out, and her heart rate spikes to 134 bpm.
The video then closes out with a video message from Corey Taylor thanking Robbie for being a fan and inviting her to a Slipknot show whenever she wants. Once again, the actress is visibly freaking out, and it’s so damn charming.
