Mark Hoppus’ Global Popularity Grows with New Concert Tours

Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus has added a new date in Auckland after his three Australian shows sold out. Fans are eager to experience his An Evening of Storytelling tour as it crosses the Pacific.

Hoppus will share insights from his memoir, Fahrenheit-182, during stops in Melbourne and Sydney before heading to New Zealand. He will perform two nights at the Melbourne Recital Hall on March 18 and 19, followed by a show at the Sydney Opera House on March 21.

Fahrenheit-182 tells the story of Hoppus’s life growing up in the 1980s, the rise and fall of Blink-182, and his battle with cancer. He describes the memoir as a vivid look at being a latchkey kid obsessed with punk rock, skateboards, and MTV. It also touches on his struggles with anxiety and his public fight against cancer. The book includes details about the band reuniting and overcoming challenges.

The new Auckland performance is set for March 23 at Auckland Town Hall, making it the only stop in New Zealand. Ticket presales are available now, with general sales starting on February 5.

The sold-out shows in Australia show that fans are excited to hear Hoppus share his story. The storytelling format allows him to connect with the audience, reflecting on decades of making music and facing tough times. Don’t miss your chance to see him live!
