Mark Morton of Lamb of God has teamed up with Gibson to launch his new signature guitar, the Mark Morton Les Paul Modern Quilt. This guitar is designed for musicians who want “precision, power, and uncompromising performance,” according to a recent announcement.
Morton wanted to create a guitar that honors the classic Les Paul heritage while also appealing to heavy metal fans. He describes the quilted top and trans black satin finish as dark and metal, yet still true to the Les Paul look.
The Mark Morton Les Paul Modern Quilt is priced at $2,999 and is available for order now at Gibson.com.
In addition to his new guitar, Lamb of God is set to release a new album titled *Into Oblivion* on March 13. Fans can also catch the band live as they kick off their U.S. tour in March.
