Marsha Ambrosius Announces New Dr. Dre-Produced Album ‘Casablanco’

Marsha Ambrosius has announced the June 28 release date of her highly anticipated new album CASABLANCO. The album is available for pre-order now via Aftermath/Interscope Records.

Executive produced by hip-hop and producing legend Dr. Dre, the R&B hitmaker’s first studio album since 2018 includes the recent hit singles “One Night Stand” and “The Greatest.”

The project began when Dre asked Ambrosius to lend her iconic vocals to some tracks he was working on. In a matter of weeks, they both decided to create an album together. By the 2023 Soul Train Awards, the British songstress surprised fans with an exciting update on the project. “Check out the credits, Dr. Dre,” Ambrosius said at the time. “That CASABLANCO on the way, a brand new classic about to hit.”

True to her word, Ambrosius returned with a bang earlier this year with the triumphant “The Greatest,” which was featured heavily in ESPN’s Heisman Trophy promos. She followed that up with the sensual “One Night Stand,” an atmospheric soul anthem that showcases her signature honey-dipped vocals while painting a vivid picture of no-strings-attached romance. It’s already crystal clear that Ambrosius and Dre are a match made in R&B heaven.

From her time in R&B outfit Floetry to her solo career, Ambrosius has captured the imaginations of fans with her captivating voice and relatable lyrics. With singles like “Far Away,” “Run,” and “Late Nights & Early Mornings,” she shared the raw, intoxicating feelings of loss, heartache, and true connection. Hits like these do not even begin to touch upon her important contributiond as a songwriter, crafting tracks for the likes of Michael Jackson, Alicia Keys, Solange, and H.E.R.

Now, with the imminent arrival of CASABLANCO, Ambrosius is gearing up to embark upon a thrilling new musical chapter that captures the full extent of her artistry.
