The Sex Pistols are back with a new signature amp from Marshall. The limited-edition JCM800 Half Stack amp is inspired by the legendary punk band and aims to capture their iconic sound and attitude.
Marshall’s culture marketing director, Steph Carter, said, “The JCM800 became a defining voice of British punk.” He added that working with guitarist Steve Jones to create this amp for the band’s 50th anniversary has been a meaningful tribute to their groundbreaking sound.
Steve Jones himself shared his thoughts, saying, “I’ve been using Marshall for a long time now. The 800 series is my workhorse – always reliable, always consistent. I like to keep things simple. It’s only rock ‘n’ roll.”

The Sex Pistols reformed in 2024 with original members Jones, Paul Cook, and Glen Matlock, along with new vocalist Frank Carter, who replaced John “Johnny Rotten” Lydon. They are set to kick off a U.S. tour in 2026, which was postponed from 2025 due to Jones breaking his wrist.
