Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine will mark the release of his new book, In My Darkest Hour, with an event in New York City on Sept. 8. In My Darkest Hour, out Sept. 8, tells Mustaine’s fight with throat cancer, which he was diagnosed with in 2019. It’s his third book, after Mustaine: A Heavy Metal Memoir and Rust in Peace: The Inside Story of the Megadeth Masterpiece.
Meanwhile, Megadeth begins a North American tour with Iron Maiden on Aug. 29. The dates are part of their world farewell tour supporting their final, self-titled album.
