Metallica fans can now show their love for the band with a new footwear collection from Dr. Martens. This collaboration features three styles, two of which celebrate the band’s iconic 1980s tours.
First up is the 1460 Metallica Boot, which showcases graphics from the 1988 Damaged Justice world tour. Then there’s the 1461 Metallica Shoe, featuring artwork from the 1986 Damaged Inc tour. Both designs include original art by Pushead and come with a Metallica “M” heel stud, special-edition dog tags, and an extra set of laces that say, “Boredom comes from a boring mind.”
The collection also includes a special 1460 Boot inspired by Metallica’s 1991 self-titled album, known as The Black Album. This all-black boot features the band’s logo embossed on the ankle and “5th Member” on the heel, honoring the fans. It also has the “M” heel stud and dog tags, with laces that read “5th Member.”
The Dr. Martens x Metallica collection will be available starting January 29. You can find the 1460 Metallica Boot and 1461 Metallica Shoe at drmartens.com and in all Dr. Martens retail stores. The black boot will be exclusive to Metallica.com. Get ready to rock in style!
