Metallica has announced their third Helping Hands Concert & Auction benefiting their All Within My Hands charity.
The concert takes place on December 16 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. All proceeds from ticket sales and auction items will go to All Within My Hands, which focuses on a variety of issues from food insecurity to funding efforts for trade education programs.
The second Helping Hands Concert & Auction took place in November 2020 and was a livestream event due to the coronavirus pandemic. The livestream raised over $1.3 million.
Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday, September 23 at 10 AM PDT/1 PM EDT at AXS.com. Complete ticket details, including fan club pre-sale information, is available at Metallica.com.
In other Metallica news: The iconic metal band is headlining the Global Citizen Festival. The festival is this Saturday (September 24) in New York’s Central Park. Other acts performing at the show include Charlie Puth, Jonas Brothers, MÅNESKIN, Mariah Carey, Mickey Guyton, and Rosalía. The festival aims to bring awareness to a number of issues. Those issues include global poverty, climate change and investing in education for women and girls in underserved countries.
