Metallica Expands Las Vegas Residency with Additional Concert Dates

Metallica has just announced an exciting Las Vegas residency that keeps expanding. They recently added six more shows to their Life Burns Faster residency, and now they’re adding four additional dates. This brings the total to 24 shows at the Sphere.

The shows are scheduled for October 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, and 31; November 5 and 7; January 28 and 30; and February 4, 6, 18, 20, 25, and 27. The residency will continue into March with shows on the 4, 6, 11, and 13. This means fans can catch Metallica in both 2026 and 2027.

What’s cool about this residency is that each Thursday performance will feature a completely different setlist from the Saturday show. This is similar to what they did during their No Repeat Weekend on the M72 world tour. Fans can expect a unique experience at every show.

Metallica’s popularity in Las Vegas is no surprise. Selling out shows at the Sphere, especially at those ticket prices, shows just how relevant they still are. They appeal to multiple generations—from fans who saw them in the late ’80s to kids who discovered them through video games and shows like Stranger Things.

The Sphere is a perfect venue for them. It’s a massive dome with a stunning 16K wraparound screen and incredible sound that fills every seat. Metallica has always aimed for bigger and better, and this venue fits that vision perfectly.

With 40 years of music, Metallica knows how to keep fans coming back for more. This residency promises to be a memorable experience for everyone.
