Metallica has just released a new Funko POP! Rocks figure set inspired by their album, 72 Seasons. This set features all four band members: James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo. Each figure stands at 3.8 inches tall and comes in a window box, making them perfect for display.
This collaboration marks the fifth time Metallica has teamed up with Funko. Previous sets have showcased different looks from their impressive four-decade career in metal. The band shared, “In the fifth Metallica x Funko collaboration, we’re celebrating 72 Seasons! Get your hands on the complete set, including James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett & Robert Trujillo as stylized POP! vinyl figures from Funko.” They also mentioned that more inventory is on the way. If the figures sell out, fans can preorder them again, with fulfillment expected within the month.
72 Seasons was released in April 2023 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales reaching 146,000 units. Fans can choose to buy individual figures or the complete four-pack. Each collectible captures the band members’ unique styles from the 72 Seasons tour.
The M72 World Tour wrapped up its North American shows in 2024, featuring stadium performances with different setlists in each city—two unique shows per location.
