Metric has just dropped a new song titled “Crush Forever,” which is part of their upcoming album, Romanticize the Dive. The band describes “Crush Forever” as a track meant to give listeners a serious boost of positive energy. In a Facebook post, they shared, “I’m really hoping it will make you happy for 4 minutes and 32 seconds, ideally longer if you have it on repeat.” They also mentioned that the song serves as a love letter to strong girls everywhere, capturing a stream-of-consciousness vibe.
Romanticize the Dive is set to be released on April 24 and will feature previously released tracks like “Victim of Luck” and “Time Is a Bomb.” Fans can look forward to more new music soon!
