Art from Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready’s new graphic novel, Farewell to Seasons, will go on display in Seattle. The show opens July 22 at the Mutual Arts Collective. It gives fans an early look at pages from the book, presented as standalone art pieces.
The gallery is partnering with Seattle Musicians Access to Sustainable Healthcare (SMASH). SMASH helps local musicians with healthcare, mental health services, hearing care and other resources.
Farewell to Seasons, due in October, imagines an alternate history of the Seattle music scene that led to the grunge boom of the early ’90s. McCready also wrote original music to go with the book.
He will talk about Farewell to Seasons at San Diego Comic-Con, running July 23–26.
