Morrissey says Vegas shows canceled for reasons beyond his control
Morrissey’s four shows at the Wynn Las Vegas, due to start Friday, have been canceled. The singer posted on his website that the performances “cannot happen for logistical reasons outside of Morrissey’s control.”
This isn’t the first time Morrissey has blamed outside factors. In March he said a planned concert in Valencia, Spain, became impossible after he arrived exhausted because of loud music from a nearby techno festival. He described being in a “catatonic state” and said the show was “rendered impossible due to sleep deprivation.”
Morrissey is scheduled to return to the stage in September at Riot Fest in Chicago. Fans hoping for more U.S. dates will be watching for updates.
