Mumford And Sons Announce New Compilation ‘Gentlemen Of The Road’ Tim Peacock

A new, digital-only Mumford & Sons compilation, Gentlemen of the Road is out now.

Gentlemen Of The Road features 12 of the band’s most loved performances over the last 10 years, including “Little Lion Man”, “I Will Wait”, “Believe” and more, plus 3 new live tracks: “Good People” live at March Madness in Phoenix in 2024, “House Of The Rising Sun” live at New Orleans Jazz Fest in 2023 & “Delta” live at London’s O2 in 2018.

The live album’s title derives from the shows Mumford & Sons has played in venues off the beaten track. On its official website, the band says “The Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers are all about live music. We get to put them on in towns not normally frequented by touring bands in buses or splitter vans. We deliberately look for towns that have something unique, or some vibe of which they are proud, explore them and enjoy what they have to offer.”

“It’s a real privilege that being in Mumford & Sons has allowed us to be able to shine a light on these towns, places that sometimes don’t get the love they deserve, and to be the facilitators of great musical coming-togethers. We actually get to put on our own shows. Which means that we get to ask our favorite bands to come and play a show with us, where we just get to watch them play all day.”

Gentlemen of the Road includes the following tracks:

“Good People” – Live From March Madness Music Festival
“I Will Wait” – Live From Red Rocks, Colorado
“Little Lion Man” – Live At Shepherd’s Bush Empire
“House Of The Rising Sun” – Live From New Orleans Jazz Fest
“The Cave” – Live From Red Rocks, Colorado
“Lover Of The Light” – Live From Red Rocks, Colorado
“White Blank Page” – Live At Shepherd’s Bush Empire
“Believe” – Live At The Hospital Club
“Slip Away” – Live From Manchester
“Awake My Soul” – Live From Denver
“The Wolf” – Live At The Hospital Club
