Mumford & Sons will be featured in an upcoming episode of the Amazon Music series, Songline. This episode is set to premiere on June 26, with an exclusive album releasing on June 29. The performance was recorded earlier this year in Brooklyn, New York, and will showcase songs from their new album, Prizefighter, as well as favorites from their past.
Frontman Marcus Mumford shared his excitement about the experience, saying, “Songline gave us the space to revisit these songs with fresh eyes and really strip them back to their essence.” He also mentioned that working with producer Rob Moose on new arrangements felt like rediscovering the reasons behind their music. “There’s something powerful about sitting with a song in that kind of intimate setting—no hiding behind production, just the story and feeling,” he added. The band hopes fans will feel that closeness when they watch the performance.
Fans can now check out the Songline performance of the song “Here” on YouTube. In other news, the band members were spotted at Game 4 of the NBA Finals, where the New York Knicks faced off against the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks made a historic comeback to win the game, and the band shared videos from their seats on Facebook.
