My Chemical Romance made a thrilling return to the stage in Buenos Aires, Argentina, performing a song live for the first time in 20 years. The last time they played this track was in May 2006 at a show in La Jolla, California. When Gerard Way announced the song, the crowd went wild. Fans captured the moment on their phones and shared clips on social media.
This concert was part of the Black Parade 2026 tour, celebrating 20 years since the band released their iconic album in 2006. Each night, they perform The Black Parade in its entirety, followed by a second set featuring songs from their other albums.
Buenos Aires also saw two rare performances that night. The second half of the show kicked off with a B-side from the 2006 Life on the Murder Scene collection, a song the band has played only 28 times. They also performed a track from their 2002 debut album, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, which was a staple in their early days.
Every show on this tour offers something unique. Actors join the band on stage, creating a dynamic narrative. Recently, the band teased fans on Instagram with the word “PHANTOM” and a message: “A GAME YOU WILL PLAY.” Audiences have been treated to new set designs, fresh characters in different costumes, and unexpected storyline twists.
On May 10, the band will return to the U.S., starting with shows in Daytona Beach and Columbus, Ohio. They will then head to the UK, Italy, Spain, and other European cities. The tour will wrap up in the U.S. with stops in New York, Nashville, Detroit, San Diego, and San Antonio, concluding on October 30 and 31 in Hollywood.
