My Chemical Romance Releases Enigmatic ‘Over Fields’ Music Video

My Chemical Romance is stirring up excitement with their latest video, “Over Fields,” which they call “The National Anthem of Draag.” The video features an operatic voice singing lines like, “We in Draag have learned to prosper in the gloom/ Over fields we live to die under the gloom.”

This might seem random, but the “Over Fields” recording played as My Chem kicked off their U.S. tour in Seattle on July 11. During this tour, they are performing their iconic 2006 album, The Black Parade, in its entirety.

Before the Seattle show, the band shared a mysterious post on Instagram that read, “A dagger, a dagger, Please fetch me a dagger.” Fans quickly realized these were new lyrics for the live performance of “Mama.”

Many fans are holding out hope that all this buildup could lead to a new My Chemical Romance album, their first in 15 years. The excitement continues as the tour moves to San Francisco this Saturday. Stay tuned for more updates!
