Nelly Furtado Recruits Quarterhead For ‘All Good Things (Come To An End)’ Remix

Following her massive resurgence on TikTok, German DJ duo Quarterhead has remixed Furtado’s hit single from 2006, “All Good Things (Come To An End),” which will also be released as an extended version, an instrumental version, and an extended instrumental version on an EP.

Quarterhead turns the Furtado anthem into a dancefloor banger, highlighting the singer’s ethereal vocals before building the percussion into a minimalism-inspired chorus. As the days heat up in anticipation of summer, Quarterhead’s remix is sure to start any party off the right way.

Quarterhead is a multiple gold and platinum awarded writer/producer duo consisting of multi-instrumentalists Josh Tapen and Janik Riegert from Germany. Amongst others, their work includes songs and productions for Robin Schulz, Felix Jaehn, ATB, Ofenbach, and The Backstreet Boys. After producing and singing on Lum!x’s international hit “The Passenger,” with over 70 million streams on all platforms in early 2020, the duo is currently riding the wave of their constantly growing worldwide hit “Head Shoulders Knees & Toes.”

Like all good remixes, Quarterhead approaches the song from an entirely fresh perspective, making the song as instantly recognizable as the original but in an entirely fresh way. The original, with wavy synths and a laidback beat, is turned on its head to showcase an EDM underbelly beneath the track’s quiet power.

“‘All Good Things’ was one of the main pop anthems we grew up with,” said Riegert. “Nelly, Timbaland, and Chris Martin are the people behind the soundtrack of our very first heartbreaks, best road trips, and longest nights. To work on this project wasn’t just a remix for us.”

Tapen adds: “To work with this legacy was an amazing experience. We hope that the new mix between Nelly’s world and our vibe brings back a lot of amazing memories and helps to create as many new ones!”

While Loose is widely celebrated for hits such as “Maneater” and “Promiscuous,” Quarterhead’s remix of “All Good Things (Come To An End)” is a needed reminder that Loose has staying power.
