Creator Guy Ritchie will return to direct and write an eight-episode third season of the crime drama.
Netflix has renewed its crime drama series The Gentlemen for a third season ahead of its second season premiere, alongside releasing the official trailer for season 2. The upcoming third season will consist of eight hourlong episodes written by creator Guy Ritchie and Matthew Read, with Ritchie returning to direct. Season 2 features eight new episodes following Eddie and Susie one year after joining forces in Bobby’s overseas criminal empire. Returning cast members include Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, Ray Winstone, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, and Giancarlo Esposito, with new additions such as Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, and Maya Jama.
In addition to the trailer release and renewal, reports have clarified rumors surrounding future casting. Despite prior speculation that Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, might appear in the series, The Hollywood Reporter reported she was dropped from consideration for a role in the show.
